Co-founding director of ENXIA since June 2026. Professor emeritus of mechanical engineering at The Catholic University of America, where he served five terms as department chair. Expertise in energy systems, power generation, combustion, thermal science, and environmental engineering.

Author of 100+ scientific papers and seven U.S. and foreign patents. Principal investigator on 25 externally funded research projects. Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; M.S. and B.S., National Taiwan University.
